I used AI to review my own existing assignment instrutions and help me identify where directions are too vague or unclear for students. I gave ChatGPT an existing assignment and asked it to tell me what the assignment was about and then tested whether it was something that AI could easily create. I then revised the assignment using clearer language. I then used the same assignment to create a rubric template and generic feedback bank. This entire process helped me create more consistent feedback language and focus on what students can improve (not just what they did wrong).
