Teaching Ethical Use of Large Language Models in English 1010

In my English 1010 course, I teach students about large language models (LLMs) and have them incorporate LLMs into their writing processes. Students then reflect on the usefulness of the LLM in supporting both their writing process and their final writing product.

If students choose to incorporate LLMs into their writing processes, I want to serve as an instructor and guide who helps them use these tools ethically and effectively.
