AI Tools to Support Teaching and Administrative Work

I use AI tools to create rubrics, clarify assignments, generate assignment ideas, develop test questions, and explain concepts in ways that my students can better understand. One strategy I frequently use is asking the AI to “explain this to an 8th grader” to generate simpler, more accessible explanations for complex topics.

I also use OtterAI to transcribe and summarize meetings and to create actionable to-do lists from meeting discussions.
